Air suspension systems have long been used in the automotive world, but in the last few years, they moved to the commercial world. From motorcycles, ATVs, custom cars, and even a performance car, they all use air suspension systems.
What Is Air Suspension And How It Works?
As the name suggests, instead of a metal spiral or leaf springs, air suspension system uses air springs. This type of suspension powered by an electric or engine air pump or compressor. This compressor pumps the air into a flexible bellows, usually made from textile-reinforced rubber. The air pressure inflates the bellows, and raises the chassis from the axle.
