Opposed Piston Opposed Cylinder Engine and how it works!

Opposed Piston Opposed Cylinder Engine

As opposed-piston engine reciprocating internal combustion engine. In this engine, each cylinder has a piston at both ends, although there is no cylinder head.Vs-piston engines have two pistons per cylinder instead of one piston per cylinder, which would require 4 cycles in the shooting. Both pistons connected by levers with a single crankshaft. No need for cylinder heads, because in the process of combustion less the heat is lost due to the opposite reciprocating action.

This means that for equal effectiveness, can be done in smaller displacement and lower emissions compared to four-stroke engine.
