System Koenigsegg free Valve allows you to increase control of the exhaust valve and the intake to the engine from electro-hydraulic and pneumatic actuators. The name of this system is the combination of two subsidiaries – koenigsegg free Valve. Of Koros ( Chinese automaker ) has joined koenigsegg in a demonstration of engine management.
Free valve engine uses electro-hydraulic and pneumatic actuators to provide precise control over each valve to increase the power and 12 to 17-percent improvement in fuel economy.
This engine will allow more power from even more compact package that is supposed to mean punchy performance from engines that meet the ever tightening Euro emissions Beijing.
There is no mention of the release or production date for koenigsegg free valve engine, currently the engine is still a concept.
