The goliat field is an offshore oil field in the Norwegian sector of the Barents sea, and this is the first oil field to start production in the Barents sea. The field is developed using Goliath, FPSO, the largest and most sophisticated cylindrical floating production and storage vessel in the world.

The unit has a capacity of 1 million barrels of oil and was built using the most advanced technologies to overcome technical and environmental challenges working in the Arctic environment. Field a Goliath consists of 22 wells, of which 12 are oil producers, 7 water injectors and 3 gas injectors.
