Hydraulic Pump
Hydraulic pumps are used as sources of power for many dynamic machines. Hydraulic pumps can push large amounts of oil through hydraulic cylinders or hydraulic motors, turning mechanical energy into hydraulic energy. Hydraulic pumps can be hydrostatic or hydrodynamic and is mainly used in hydraulic drive systems
A pump generates flow with enough power to overcome the pressure caused by the load on the pump outlet. When a hydraulic pump operates, it creates a vacuum at the pump inlet, which forces liquid from the reservoir into the inlet line to the pump and by mechanical action of transport of this liquid to the pump outlet and forces in a hydraulic system.
There are different types of hydraulic pumps, such as pump gears, external gear, internal gear pump, vane pump, and the pump swash plate piston pump, radial pump, hand pump and many others.

Great video, thank you. The rotary vane must be really in demand these days, hopefully it can overcome the challenges.
